Philanthropy
In keeping with our mission to serve the community and to promote interest in gardening, protecting birds, native plants, and other natural resources, we have established three areas of philanthropy:

Contributions
We make yearly contributions to the following organizations to support their good work:

Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge

Hop Brook Protection Association

Native Plant Trust (Garden in the Woods)

Memberships
With memberships at the following sites, our Club's members can visit and partake in special events and programs at discounted rates:

Scholarships
The Club awards annual scholarships for college, or other educational endeavors through a competitive application process.
Applicants must be accepted by at least one school with the intent to study horticulture, conservation, forestry, landscape, floral design or environmental science. Applicants must be Lincoln-Sudbury seniors or L-S graduates currently enrolled in a college program. The club has allocated $3,000.00 for fiscal year 2024-25 to support a qualified candidate(s). Disbursement of funds to be determined on candidate merits; i.e. $1,000.00 each for three students OR $1,500.00 for each of two students.
